Terms of Service
Last updated 28 October 2026
These terms cover your use of the Flagella app and website (“Flagella”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account or using Flagella, you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use Flagella.
Who can use Flagella
You must be at least 18, or use Flagella with the permission of a parent or guardian. You’re responsible for your account and for keeping your password safe. Tell us straight away at support@flagella-x.com if you think someone else is using it.
What Flagella does
Flagella lets people find events, get tickets, chat with other guests, and lets hosts run events and book vendors. We provide the tools. We don’t organise the events, sell the tickets or provide the vendors’ services ourselves.
Hosts
- You’re responsible for your events: that the details are accurate, that the event goes ahead as described, and that it follows the law, including any licences, permits and safety rules it needs.
- If you change the date, time or venue, or cancel, Flagella tells your ticket holders. Refunds are between you and your guests.
- You’re responsible for how you use guest lists and the information guests share with you, including anything you export.
Tickets and payments
When an event is priced, guests pay the host directly, by bank transfer or the host’s own payment link. Flagella doesn’t take, hold or pass on that money, and isn’t a party to the payment. A host confirms a payment in the app once it has reached them. Unpaid reservations may be released after the time the host sets. Questions about payments and refunds go to the host, whom you can message from your ticket.
Vendors
Vendors are independent businesses. Any booking, fee or agreement is between the vendor and the host. Verification badges mean we’ve reviewed the documents a vendor sent us; they aren’t a guarantee of the vendor’s work.
What you post
You keep ownership of the photos, videos, posts and messages you share. You give us permission to store and show them to the people you share them with, so Flagella can work. Don’t post anything that’s illegal, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit, misleading, or that you don’t have the right to share. You can report content and block people in the app, and we may remove content or close accounts that break these terms.
Things you mustn’t do
- Pretend to be someone else, or create events or tickets meant to mislead people.
- Use Flagella to send spam or collect people’s details without their permission.
- Interfere with Flagella, try to get into accounts or data that aren’t yours, or copy the service.
Ending your account
You can delete your account at any time from your profile’s menu. Deleting it also deletes any events you host. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts others at risk.
Our responsibility
We work to keep Flagella running and secure, but we provide it as it is and can’t promise it will always be available or free of errors. We aren’t responsible for events, payments or services arranged between users. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can’t be limited by law.
Changes
We may update these terms. If the changes are significant, we’ll let you know in the app before they apply. Using Flagella after that means you accept the new terms.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and the courts of Nigeria will deal with any dispute.
